NEW YORK CITY

 

Having had the fortune to travel to many places, it means quite a lot to say that New York is my favorite destination. On the plus side, the Big Apple is only six hours away from my California home, English is spoken fluently, and I can easily keep in touch with loved ones through my nationwide cell phone coverage!

 

Having nearly everything a tourist could want in one place, New York defintely does not come cheap. I had to do some searching on Craigslist to find someone to host me. Still, I was thrilled to find plenty of free, fun activities to do in the big city. Free Tours by Foot guided me through food tours, ghost tours, and much more. I literally took at least eight of them.

 

Many people have said it, but it bears repeating. I LOVE NYC!
