NEW ORLEANS
 

Known as the nation's "Murder Capital," I was weary of venturing to the Big Easy on my own. Fortunately, I I was pleased to experience no issues with safety, and this includes dodging New Orlean's

thunderstorms!

A key point of New Orleans was its incredible musical talent. Just walking along Bourbon Street, I

witnessed a young woman who could sing just like Norah Jones, an outstanding pianist on the keyboard, 

and the most impressive band I have ever heard. As for the dancing Darth Vader on Royal Street though, I can just say he always put a smile on my face.

The culture of New Orleans is to let good times roll, because in its history, life was often cut tragically short. Locals do this today with Mardi Gras, where absolutely anything goes.
