The Louvre masterfully blends the past and present with its classic French architecture and modern glass pyramid. Within walking distance, there is the Luxor Obselisk and the Museum of Contemporary Art. The museum is a unique sight, as all its infrastructure is placed arranged outside the building.

 

The magnificent Versailles is a train's ride away. Its grandeur is unlike anything I had ever seen before and was well worth the visit.
