HARAJUKU

On Sunday afternoons, fashionistas wear their outrageous outfits on Harajuku Street. As a cosplayer, I was disappointed I hadn't brought my attire, but spotting the costumers was still a lot of fun. They absolutely love having their pictures taken, whether it's on Harajuku or any other district of Tokyo.

The typical attire worn by female Japanese is very different from westernized women. Not a single pair of blue jeans can be seen in public, because everyone is wearing a short skirt and heels! In fact, when riding up an escalator, it is common to read signs that say, "No Upskirting Allowed."

However, the most striking aspect about the Japanese is their extraordinarily kind and polite demeanor. If you're lost, they will take twenty minutes to walk you to your destination!
